India Bistro’s Favorite Seafood Indian Food Part 2

Believe it or not, seafood is some of the most delicious and popular dishes on our Indian Food menu here at India Bistro. To some people, Indian food and seafood may not immediately register as symbiotic. The most popular seafood used in India are fish, crab, and prawns. Until you consider how much coastline the country of India has. The complimentary flavors of Indian spices with the seafood and how the seafood takes on new depth with Indian spices is not to be missed. In our last blog, we featured some options that are customer favorites. Here are some more to choose from.

The wonderful thing about our expansive menu is you can have the same dish multiple ways, that is with different proteins. Many dishes that might already be your favorites can be tried with one of our seafood options. Many of our Bistro specialites have Prawns and an option and some even have fish. Give one of these a try!

Tikka Masala (with Prawns)

Fresh ginger roots minced into a creamy yogurt. Spiced with perfection, then cooked and simmered in a tomato gravy sauce. Do you always order Chicken Tikka? Then order it with Prawns, we promise you won’t regret it!

Vindaloo (with Prawns)

Our spicy specialty from Goa itself. Goa is a western Indian state with coast along the Arabian Sea. This is the perfect regional dish to order with seafood! It has Ginger, Onions, Tomatoes, and Garlic cooked with Vinegar, Spices and Fresh Potatoes. When you order this one with prawns, you’ll be transported to Goa.

Goa Curry (with Prawns)

Another Goa style speciality which goes great with seafood! Onions, Tomatoes, and Ginger cooked in a unique mix of coconut & Indian herbs. Order it with prawns for a delicious coconut style curry dish.

Tikka Masala (with Fish)

Want to try fish instead? We suggest our tikka dish! Fresh ginger roots minced into a creamy yogurt. Spiced with perfection, then cooked and simmered in a tomato gravy sauce and ask for fish to complete this tikka masala.

Punjabi Fish Pakora

From our appetizer menu, lentil flour battered vegetables and potatoes combined then fried to a crisp. Seasoned with an Indian spice called chaat masala. It is so delicious, you’ll order it everytime.
